Qinghai-Tibet Railway will be extended to the border of Nepal within five years

Nepal's Foreign Ministry recently issued a notice recently:  

On April 1, Chinease Tibet Regional Government officer Luosang Juangcun said to Nepal president Ram Baran Yadav on his visit last Wednesday that the Qinghai-Tibet railway will extend 540 kilometers from Xigaze, and will be extending to the border of Geelong in 2020.

Yadav said in the interview, the Tibet Autonomous Region is an important channel for the exchange between China and Nepel, to strengthen the connection on aviation, roads, ports, especially railroad is very important to create mutual prosperity.  Nepal is very confident on the huge potential of the trade cooperation between Nepel and Tibet.  Nepal welcome and thanks to Tibet for the help that Tibet give to improve people’s lives in northern Nepal border region.
